Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
FinGenie is an early-stage fintech venture of Aner Livne ("we"). This policy explains what information myfingenie.com collects, why, and your rights. Questions and requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- Interest form: your name, email and anything else you choose to provide (phone, company, role, purpose of contact, message). Providing it is voluntary, but we need your name, email and purpose to respond.
- Updates sign-up: your email address, only if you sign up and give consent. It is used only to send updates about FinGenie, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Visit statistics: for each visit we record the page, language, country and approximate city (as provided by Cloudflare), device type and browser (e.g. "mobile, Chrome"), and the referring site (e.g. Google). We do not store IP addresses or any visitor identifier, and we do not use tracking cookies.
- Technical data at our infrastructure provider: Cloudflare, which serves the site, processes IP addresses and request data for security and delivery.
How we use it
- To get back to you and manage our conversation about investment, partnership or the service.
- To understand whether an inquiry is relevant: we may review public, professional information about you, such as company, role and investment focus, using search engines and AI tools. We do not look for non-professional personal information.
- To measure, in aggregate, how many people visit the site and where they come from, and to improve it.
Legal basis (GDPR)
Your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, qualifying them, and running and improving the site.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data or share it for advertising. It is shared only with service providers that help us run the site:
- Cloudflare: infrastructure, security and delivery.
- Telegram: delivering new-inquiry notifications to the site owner.
- Brevo: sending email, for example updates to those who signed up for them.
- Anthropic: the AI tool used to review public professional information.
Some providers operate outside your country, including in the United States, under their own agreements and safeguards.
How long we keep it
Inquiry details are kept for up to 24 months or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate only.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or object to its use. Under the GDPR you may also request restriction or portability and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.
Cookies and browser storage
- The site does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies, and loads no third-party services (fonts are served from our own server).
- Your browser stores only your language choice (if you picked one manually) and a temporary marker, cleared when you close the browser, that prevents counting the same visit twice and remembers how you arrived.
- Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example for bot detection.
- One cookie is set only in the site owner's browser when they sign in to the admin area, so their own visits aren't counted. Other visitors never receive it.
- Since there are no non-essential cookies, there is no cookie banner. You can clear stored data at any time in your browser settings.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Data is stored on a secured server, and access is limited to the site owner. No method is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
The site is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information about minors.
Changes
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted here with its update date.
